Fellow sled heads set out for a great family ride on the
beautiful trails of the Muskoka Snowmobiling Region in Bala, Ontario in an
effort to help fight Prostate Cancer.
32 snowmobile enthusiasts, from as far away as Windsor in the west to
Bellville in the east, enjoyed a great winter day to participate in the 2nd annual “Sled Ride of Hope”
held at the luxurious Cranberry Cove Resort..
The ride was followed by a delicious dinner, announcements by
Jodi Gaskell of Y108 and we even had a surprise guest Mr. Kevin Flynn MPP
stopped by to encourage us to fight on with our cause!
The Extreme Team, were thrilled to discover that
even though attendance was down due to weather conditions they still raised over $10,000.00
thanks to the sledding community.
The Prostate Extreme Team wishes to thank all our riders, volunteers, sponsors and
especially those who brought forth pledges to help support our great cause.

to continue our fight!

We had a beautiful day for this first ever Club
Hosted event. We would also like to recognize two neighboring clubs who came out
to support our cause.

The Extreme Team, were very
pleased to discover that the volunteer snowmobile clubs raised just
over $2,070.00 for Prostate Cancer Research.
This is an outstanding accomplishment considering the fact
that ALL these folks spend most of their free time keeping up the snowmobile trail system so
that everyone can ride them at their leisure. These folks made extra time to
help out our cause and they deserve a huge round of applause for what they do.
The support of great people like this means more to us than
anything
