Just a reminder that we will once again be at the Powerade Center in Brampton for this years event.

Come for your FREE PSA test and check out all the cool cars.

We will have BOTH our Top Fuel Drag cars on site for photo ops and hopefully we will fire them up as well :clap

Sorry Paul I have been swamped...

Looks like our best event ever and the best part is I think we finally made the show pay for itself rather than being in the hole :clap :clap :clap

I will try and update both the Cruisin Page and here as well, thanks for the reminder...

Or is that a kick in the a$$ :grin :lol@u

Here ya go Paul, I am quoting from the Prostate Cancer Canada Network Brampton Newsletter for the totals

PCCN-Brampton wrote:
Our 5th annual Cruisin’ For a Cure Canada was held on Sunday,
Sept 11, 2011 at the Powerade Centre on Kennedy Road south of
Steeles in Brampton. The weather cooperated for a change and
the event was an unqualified success.
With 330+ automobiles on display and close to 300 PSA tests
provided free of charge, the event provides an excellent vehicle
for Prostate Cancer Awareness. All puns aside, it was a great
day, punctuated by a performance by the OPP Golden Helmets
motorcycle team. This performance and a moving tribute to the
victims of 9/11 made our 5th annual event a special day all round.
While we did not have a major sponsor to cover the PSA clinic
this year, a number of smaller sponsors and a good turnout
allowed the event to cover our costs.
Our thanks to the small army of volunteers that make this event
a success, most notably Jim & Sandi Dorsey who do an fantastic
job promoting and making sure the event comes off as planned.
Jim and Sandi followed this up by attending the 1st annual
Cruisin’ For A Cure event in Buffalo at the Roswell Cancer
Centre. They have been sharing their experiences with the group
across the border to help make their event a success as well.
